This
update includes v6.0.5 v6.0.6 & v6.0.7
1. Versions
v6.0.5 & v6.0.6 were mostly for international users; disconnecting the
special format of the numbers, specifically useful only to U.S. users.
2. Version
v6.0.7 directs the scopist’s definitions to a special “T” dictionary called
“Tscopist” which is then made available to the Reporter for Review when
receiving the job back. This function makes sure that your dictionary gets
updated after each job, and you can decide which definition to keep and into
which dictionary to put it (job or master).
See “Send & Receive” functions in jobs maintenance.
3.
Version v6.0.8
a. Expands
the range of COM ports for input and output to 9, in order to accommodate “blue
tooth” wireless interfaces and other communication requirements.
b. Sorts
the Archived jobs in order of the date that the job was taken or processed in
Telitor. So, if the job was taken in real time, then it is the date of the
proceedings; or else it is the date when the notes were read into Telitor.
NOTE:
From now on
all updates will be made available only to those users who are current with
their support. Updates will be sent via E-mail accompanied by the proper
instructions. We will continue to broadcast the functionality of the versions
on the web site, as shown above.
Also, users
who are current in their support will now have the availability of using the
FTP site to transfer files back and
forth to scopists. It is necessary to
have some method of transferring if you are sending the audio files. We will no longer charge by the page for
this capability; but an annual fee of $25.
As always, we
are here to answer any questions but we cannot support older versions of
TeLiTor. Technology is marching forward
and we are constantly updating in order to accommodate what our users want.
