The Federal Courts have chosen WORD as the official repository of their transcripts and an increasing number of States are passing legislation that will require all court documents to be in WORD.

 

TeLiTor brings the transcription into the Microsoft Office providing a standard desktop environment. This allows reporters, courts, and law firms to easily and conveniently, protect, exchange, view, and utilize the transcripts without the need of any other third party software.  It is the industry’s most significant paradigm shift since the introduction of personal computers.

 

Our patented technology called StenoLink™, allows the steno to remain linked to the text in the WORD document. This allows the reporter, for the first time ever, to directly deliver a finished product with synchronized audio & video, pictures, hyperlinks to exhibits, etc. No other CAT system can do this without first exporting the text files and then manipulating them with other proprietary software. When the reporter/scopist has completed editing and proofing, the TeLiTor file (transcript) is a finished, complete, and integrated multimedia product available to all clients using WORD.

Optional Modules:

 

TeLiWord™ client module for local, remote, intranet, or Internet (web casting) live transcription. Because with this module the transcript is shared among WORD users the benefits are enormous, all the power and popularity of WORD is available to them. We have also added some specialized features:

  1. Chat mode, TeLiChat™, on command a chat window will open up, the reporter can stenotype messages that the client will see, but are not part of the transcript. The client(s) Judge, Attorney, CART customer, etc., can also type messages that will appear on the reporter's screen. The "chat mode" can be initiated by either the reporter or the client(s).
  2. Scroll back into the live transcription document.
  3. View other documents, while the live transcription continues.
  4. Various levels of security.
